Eric Deng
Eric is a product leader and angel investor working on applying robotics and AI to real-world problems. He leads technical product management for evaluation, testing, and data science for autonomous vehicles at Cruise, is an active angel investor in the AI/Robotics space, and co-leads the Waymo Angels Syndicate (“Wayngels”).
Prior to Cruise Eric was a PM lead at Waymo where he led efforts to expand driverless operations to San Francisco, built the PM team for Autonomy at Uber ATG, and was a technical lead for Robotics at Meta. He has experience building teams and products that bring AI into the real world and loves working with founders trying to do just that.
Eric resides in San Francisco and you can find him outside during his free time (especially skiing and golfing when the weather permits!). Join me for some morning birdies if you’re around and like to play :)
